The Great Synagogue of Rome (Tempio Maggiore di Roma), which was designed by Vincenzo Costa and Osvaldo Armanni was inaugurated on July 28th 1904. Its grand square dome, the only one of its kind in the Eternal City, makes the Synagogue an easily identifiable feature on the Roman skyline. Comments are closed.
