Ponte Settimia Spizzichino (2009-12) is dedicated to the memory of Settimia Spizzichino (1921-2000), the only female survivor of the 1,023 Jews who were rounded up in the Ghetto on October 16th, 1943, and deported to Auschwitz.
The bridge, the work of the engineer Francesco del Tosto, is known locally as the 'Cobra'.
