Via Margutta & Via Veneto On October 31st 1993, the film director Federico Fellini died in Rome. He was seventy-three years old. For many years Fellini and his wife, the actress Giulietta Masina (1921-94), lived in Via Margutta (n. 110). An amusing plaque records their residence in one of Rome's most picturesque streets. Fellini is also honoured with a much more conventional plaque in Via Veneto, which he immortalised in his film La Dolce Vita (1960). Comments are closed.
