An Eagle from Trajan's Forum
A beautiful bas-relief of an eagle from Trajan's Forum, adorns one of the side walls of the portico of the church of Santi XII Apostoli.
The eagle, its wings outstretched, is encircled by a laurel wreath, which it grips with its talons.
