The small church of Santa Maria Annunziata in Borgo, which is known locally as la Nunziatina, was built between 1742 and 1745 by Pietro Passalacqua (1690-1748).
Facade Window
La Nunziatina served as an oratory for the Arciconfraternita di Santo Spirito (Archconfraternity of the Holy Spirit), which was attached to the nearby Ospedale di Santo Spirito in Sassia (Hospital of the Holy Spirit). The church originally stood in the Borgo Santo Spirito, but in 1940 it was dismantled and rebuilt, ten years later, in its present position.
Nave
The interior is a rectangular room of three bays with rounded corners, having a shallow little rectangular apse containing the high altar.

The altarpiece of TheAnnunciation is by Angelo Massarotti (1653-1723).
