The Fontana di Piazza del Viminale (1931), which was created by the sculptor Publio Morbiducci (1889-1963), was unveiled by Mussolini on May 5th 1931. 

The fountain is the centrepiece of the piazza in front of the Ministry of the Interior, which was designed by the architect Manfredo Manfredi (1859-1927).
