The Fountain of the Goddess Roma
Piazza Monte Grappa
The Fountain of the Goddess Roma (Fontana della Dea Roma), 2003, is the work of the Polish sculptor Ivor Mitoraj (1944-2014).
Carved out of blocks of travertine, the local stone, the fountain takes the form of a somewhat melancholic face.
