In the centre of Piazza Mincio, in the Quartiere Coppede, stands the delightful Fontana delle Rane (Fountain of the Frogs). The fountain (1924) was designed by the Florentine architect Gino Coppedè (1866-1927) as part of a small, and distinctly quirky, residential quarter that he built between 1915 and 1927.
