The bronze doors of the Pantheon are thought to be the oldest doors in Rome. Each door weighs 8.5 tonnes and together they measure 4.5 by 7.5 metres. The building of the Pantheon is thought to date back to the reign of Emperor Hadrian (r. 117-38). Comments are closed.
