The grand Palazzo delle Esposizioni, which opened in 1883, was designed by the Roman architect Pio Piacentini (1846-1928) to provide a venue for the exhibition of the fine arts. The blind walls of the galleries are articulated with Corinthian pilasters, while the entrance takes the form of a triumphal arch. Comments are closed.
