The highly ornate windows of the 18th century Palazzo Centini Toni are flanked by half-length figures, which has led to the building being known locally as the Palazzo dei Pupazzi (Palace of the Puppets).
Palazzo Centini Toni is not the only palazzo in Rome which bears this nickname, the other is Palazzo Crivelli.
