Today is the feast of the Most Holy Trinity, which falls on the first Sunday after Pentecost. 

Trinity Sunday celebrates the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, the three Persons of God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

In the centre of Rome there are three churches dedicated to the Holy Trinity, namely, Santissima Trinità di Monti, Santissima Trinità dei Pellegrini & Santissima Trinità degli Spagnoli.
