The 15th century Casa dei Cavalieri di Rodi (House of the Knights of Rhodes) was built by Cardinal Marco Bembo, who was appointed Grand Master of the Order of the Knights Hospitallers of St John by his uncle, Pope Paul II (r. 1464-71).
The house stands in the remains of the Forum of Augustus. Comments are closed.
