Pincian hill On February 1st 1839, the architect Giuseppe Valadier (b. 1762) died in Rome. One of Valadier's many achievements was his redesign of Piazza del Popolo.
The fine bust of Valadier on the Pincian hill is the work of the sculptor Luigi Majoli (1819-97). Comments are closed.
