Bronze Angel by Carmelo Abate
A bronze angel crowns the 20th century church of Santi Pietro e Paolo (Saints Peter and Paul). The angel, the work of Carmelo Abate (1912-56), holds a sword in one hand and a pair of keys in the other, the respective attributes of Rome's two patron saints.
