On August 13th 1616, the painter and architect Plautilla Bricci (d. 1705) was born in Rome. Plautilla Bricci, who was a member of the prestigious Accademia di San Luca, designed the spectacular Chapel of St Louis of France in the church of San Luigi dei Francesi. She died in the city of the birth on December 13th 1705, at the grand old age of eighty-nine. Comments are closed.
