April 25th is the feast day of St Mark the Evangelist. 

The only church in the centre of Rome to be dedicated to St Mark is also one of the oldest. The entrance to San Marco Evangelista al Campidoglio is surmounted by an image of the saint by the sculptor Isaia da Pisa (active 1447-64).
